Andre, a Consulting Engineer for a Space Exploration Company, holds a PhD in Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. A rocket scientist by day, Andre enjoys practicing and teaching yoga in his spare time. Andre's formal teacher training (2010) is from Shanti Shanti Yoga School. His style is affectionately called "Magma Flow," a relaxed paced, deep stretching and strengthening Hatha Flow.
Cathy has a B.S. in Physical Education and began teaching yoga and meditation in 1999. Her formal training is from Ananda Sangha, a worldwide organization based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. She lived, studied and taught at the Ananda community in Rancho Cordova CA from 2002-2008. Her teaching style draws upon her years studying metaphysics, spirituality and healing.

Christine began practicing yoga in 2006 and soon learned to love this non-competitive, self-accepting form of exercise. At the time she felt she needed yoga to escape from a stressful job. In 2010 Christine went to Bali (Indonesia) to study yoga at the Yandara Yoga Institute. It was there that she learned yoga was not about running away from challenges in life, but instead was a way to connect to and honor the Self.

Karta is one of the original students of Yogi Bhajan, who brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in the late 1960's. Karta brings over 35 years of rich Kundalini experience to his meditation classes. He combines wit, wisdom with inspiration as he expertly guides his students to experience the power and grace of Kundalini technology.

Sarah's yoga journey began in 1998 while looking for natural health remedies for fibromyalgia and stress. Excited to share the benefits of yoga with others, she began teaching in 2006. She completed Yoga Alliance's 200 hour Teacher Training through Cloud Nine.

Debbie, Founder of Yoga Body & Soul, began her yoga journey in 2002 as part of a self-healing regimen for chronic fatigue. She studied Qi-Gong from 2002-2009 under the guidance of masters from the Dahn Yoga tradition. Her formal teacher training is from Yoga Works (2009) & Kundalini Research Institute (2011). She draws upon the various techniques she has learned to create a feel good blended style that is healing and safe for all.

Betsy, semi-retired elementary school teacher, has been dancing for the love of it most of her life. Prior to becoming a Zumba Fitness enthusiast she practiced Jazzercize. Betsy became Zumba Fitness certified in 2011 and uses her passion for dance and music to create a fun and dynamic dance party workout.

Mettananda describes waking up from a fragmented consciousness to a life of yoga, meditation and veganism. He has traveled all 48 U.S. contiguous states, hiking, camping and visiting places of inspiration like Henry Thoreau's log cabin on Walden Pond in Concord MA. He has even trekked upon sacred ground in the northern Himalayas. Metta is an ordained Buddhist Monk and has a Masters in Gerontology.
Mark, a student of yoga since 2000, began teaching in 2010. Mark leads a busy professional life and he credits yoga for helping him maintain balance in life, with a positive outlook and continued personal growth. Mark is committed to sharing the benefits of yoga with his students while encouraging them to work at a comfortable edge, offering modifications to suit individual needs.
